Autoimmune Protocol AIP diet

Hello, has anyone successfully reduced the amount of antibodies with AIP diet? As this is a very strict diet I wonder if there are other “lighter” versions which are proven to help. My husband has Graves’ disease and has been suffering with dairy and yeast intolerance for years. We are now learning that these things are very much linked.

Kari55,

I'm sorry you've had no replies. Antibodies fluctuate. I don't know whether Graves antibodies are ever significantly reduced with AIP or gluten-free diet. G-F and AIP are used to reduce Hashimoto's antibodies.

Thanks Clutter. I didn’t realise that AIP is more for Hashimoto.

Kari55,

It isn't. It's an Autoimmune Protocol. I just said I don't know whether it significantly reduces Graves antibodies.
