Determined to simplify and modernise all aspects of our lives , endocrinologists are expanding upon their thyroid success. Deriving thyroid function status, hormone levels and uptake from the hypothalamus, they have concluded that the TSH it produces is the proxy marker for health universally.
Now I have heard that this illustrious group are applying their new , self arrived at laws of physics and chemistry to reduce the burden of reading household meters for gas, water and electric and reduce motoring costs.
They have determined , the household gas meter reading can be used to determine the electric consumption by doubling it and adding four . This always works ! If it doesn't , it's non compliance with their formula.
Additionally , the electricity consumption can be used to determine the amount of water needed by the household for the year - within a range of 2 kettles and one bath. No need to include flushing the toilet , this occurs when it rains , and to do so may result in a highly dangerous flood that could sink the country.
Furthermore , these helpful recipient of corporate knowledge , egos inflated from the corporate tit , have advised that when the oil light comes on in your car , you need petrol , apparently it is an outdated myth that cars require oil. If they overheat it only due to overuse -they advise keeping your car cool by leaving it on the drive.
Their next project is to ensure nuclear disarmament , all the worlds nukes will be destroyed in one big explosion on bonfire night.

it is great thinking, I wished I was still as switched on as you are! I feel the years on my shoulder, pressing me down, getting depressed, that I will never reach the great old age of the 90+ ones in my ancestry. (mum died at 103)
