Hello everyone,

Anyone here been tested for cushing's syndrome please? What were/are your symptoms please. My endo is testing me for this. Just completed my first 24hr urine sample. Also, how many other people here have mixed hyperlipidemia and link it too under active thyroid? Both being predispositioned from birth?

I have been on all the statins going

but they increased my joint pain due to my fibromylagia and arthritis. I am now having to take rosuvastatin every other night.

Thank you

High cholesterol is symptom of under treated hypothyroidism

What are you most recent thyroid results

TSH, FT4 and FT3 plus thyroid antibodies

Also vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 results and ranges would be helpful

All thyroid tests should be done as early as possible in morning and fasting and don't take Levo in the 24 hours prior to test, delay and take straight after. This gives highest TSH, lowest FT4 and most consistent results

Taking good dose of vitamin C can also help lower cholesterol - search vitamin C on the cholesterol support group on healthunlocked
