Opinion on results please
Jools1803,
TSH is suppressed and FT4 over range so you were a little overmedicated and that's why endo has reduced dose to 112.5mcg. It is a very small reduction and may not be sufficient for FT4 to drop into range. FT3 5.91 is in the upper third of range and indicates you are a good converter of T4 to T3.
Calcium is mildly below range. If you've been prescribed calcium make sure you take it 4 hours away from Levothyroxine.
Ferritin is also low. Taking iron with 1,000mg vitamin C will aid absorption and minimise constipation. Iron should also be taken 4 hours away from Levothyroxine.
The other results look fine.
Thanks a million 😊
Iron and calcium were not tested this time - results on sheet are from August- i have been taking calcium and iron- GP advised 3 months off iron then retest.
Have you had vitamin D tested?
Low calcium can be due to low vitamin D
Low vitamin D extremely common with thyroid
