Success at last

After printing off the NHS England recent paper on restricted drugs of which lothyronine is one - I went to see my lovely GP who had, originally given me a, trial of T3 but had stopped it on instruction of the CCG- this forced me to get it from abroad for a couple of years. He agreed that it should now be reinstated and should never have been stopped, and as my endo has encouraged me to buy it from abroad and was therefore in agreement- the lovely man(gp) gave me 6months prescription for T3 there and then - making me a very happy bunny. I was always nervous of buying it online as I pointed out to the medics - I could have been taking arsenic for all they knew and cared. Common sense has for once prevailed. Thanks to everyone who has pressurised them and kept this injustice to the fore front of public opinion. Thought you would be interested in the change I have experienced and I hope all other medics follow suit.

Yes they agreed to allow with one hand, but the other hand has put new guidelines out - see link below

So your lovely GP may be pressurised into stopping
