mine is nature throid the generic is Thyroid NT that I was first put on by my Dr.

Acella NP is an American brand of NDT like NatureThroid.

Clutter thought you were referring to "NP Thyroid" (also called Acella) - from this company:

npthyroid.com/

The only products we know as "NT" are Nature-Throid (which you have already mentioned) and Nutri-Thyroid (a non-prescription pig thyroid product - thyroid hormone content unknown).

So we are not entirely clear what you mean by "the generic is Thyroid NT".

I also posted a paper on FB where

the FDA said that Nature throid,

Armour, and WP are all Brand names and the generic is

NT Thyroid by Aucella! When I was on it, My script bottle said it

like I have it, and I was conversing with the salesman at Aucella

periodically, and he and I both were referring occasionally to it as NT. I was taking it. Whoever

said NP was mistaken. It was never on my prescription as NP! Sorry! I apologize to her too!

Clutter, Helvella, and Seaside Suzie, I apolgize to all, I just

checked a health letter that says NP (what does that stand for) But I will tell you still that

NT thyroid was printed on my script that I took for 3 months

and it was awful It smelled so bad, I had to hold my nose to take it! Sorry girls! Do you think it means Natural Pig?

NP might stand for Natural Porcine (thyroid) - that's what they say all over their website.
