If you can afford it, try to visit Iceland. I went in 1984 and it is the most amazing country. Very inspiring, ultra clean air, hot geysers, the Blue Lagoon (hot natural water to swim in), the countryside looks like the moon landscape, the main city of Reykjavik is the cleanest city I've ever been to.

I always considered those Icelandics to be forward thinking.

I agree. I went for my 40 last December. Then booked to go again two weeks later as it was so amazing. Norwegian Airlines are doing £35 singles for December and January. Or Wizz Air.
