Dark circles

My thyroid is at last in range but still have dark circles under my eyes. Strange that these have only occurredvin the last two years but have had thyroid medication for four years. Do not recall having them before thyroid was diagnosed. Will they go after levothyroxine levels normalise.

No. I have not. My doctor would not be open to these tests.

Gillybabe, if your doctor is reluctant to tests it means that he probably doesn't know how to interpret the results. It also means that, when you don't measure things, you will never learn anything. My suggestion is to get another doctor, dark circles should not be difficult to diagnose. How do you feel in general? If you have been under par for four years your body could be exhausted, a symptom of which is dark circles under your eyes. But yes to Raventhorpe, get your Vit. D tested, go private if necessary.
