Hi there you lot I hope your all feeling as well as can be.Here is my latest test results dated 2/11/17 all feed back is welcome.

Tsh 0.04miul/L.............0.27-4.2miu/L

T4 24.6pmol/L.................13.1-213pmol/L

As your FT4 is over range, you need FT3 testing. If your GP can't get it done then consider Medichecks or Blue Horizon, TSH/FT4/FT3 bundle.

I will av to go private as doctors won’t test Ft3 I will get it tested.What does it mean having a T4 out of range.

Your T4 could be a little over-range for a number of reasons. What thyroid condition have you been diagnosed with? As SeasideSusie has said, get all 3 thyroid hormones tested. TSH, FT4 and FT3 and you'll get a better picture.

Sorry for late message doctor just told me under active thyroid,I will try and find that out if possible.I will also get bloods done privately.and keep you u all informed.

Also get antibodies TPO and TgAb tested or find out if GP has done them.

Essential you get the FT3 reading at the same time as FT4.

If FT4 is high you could have a conversion problem if FT3 is very low bit if FT3 is over range as well then you are taking too much medication so could be either end of the scale and treated very differently.
