You need to wait for your results.

TSH, FT4, FT3, TT4 plus antibodies

Vitamin D, folate and ferritin

If having B12injections you are likely to benefit from good vitamin B complex

If you are taking vitamin B complex, or any supplements containing biotin, remember to stop these 3-5 days before any blood tests, as biotin can falsely affect test results

All thyroid tests should be done as early as possible in morning and fasting. This gives highest TSH and most consistent results

SlowDragon that is interesting regarding early morning and fasting before Thyroid tests are carried out. If you look at my thread. I have just paid Privately to have my Thyroid checked. Said I did not have to fast... Sorry to jump into your queries ecirp1332

That is patient to patient tip. It helps keep TSH highest, which is all many medics actually look at (incorrectly)

If you were in another country you would have been diagnosed because your TSH is 3+. In the UK we have to wait till it reaches 10 but some doctors do take into account clinical symptoms, (if they know any).

Missed heart beats can also be due to hypothyroidism. On looking at your other post I see you are going to visit an Endocrinologist. Your blood test has to be at the very earliest and I think I'd ask your GP to do them for you because if the Endo's appointment is in the afternoon and he wants a blood test your TSH will have lowered. All vitamins/minerals have to be at an optimum.

Are you having B12 injections due to a deficiency or do you have Pernicious Anaemia?

I have pernicious anemia for 10 plus yrs

I have P.A. too as did my Mother. You want your B12 to be around 1,000 - not somewhere in range so you might have to supplement with B12 methylcobalamin sublingual B12.

Sublingual is recommended as most times our stomach is affected and B12 can be absorbed through the tonge.
