Hi wonderful people, a little advise I'm currently on 10mg of carbizmol and having my Buserelin injections gets to a point through the night I'm woken with strange heart rythem and it's quite strong had anyone else experienced this? Buy the time I'm due to get up I'm soaking with sweat and quite nauseous it's causing me to take time off work 😞

What were your last thyroid test results? Your dose may be a little low or the hormones you are taking may be affecting your heart rhythm. Is there any side effects re heart on the medicine notes?

Iv just been on the phone to my endo as I had my bloods done yesterday he said my levels were fine total brain fog as to what he said the numbers were so that don't help sorry 😞 I'm going to give my ivf nurse a ring x

You should talk to your ivf clinic if you are worried about side effects. Having been through ivf myself many many times I think you are brave doing it whilst hyper, it can be quite tough going.

Iv just been on the phone to my endo got my bloods done yesterday & he said they have came back how they should be so he's happy that I'm under control and injecting my Buserelin. Guess I better ring my ivf nurse 😞 X

Do you get copies of your results? If not start now! 'How they should be' may not be what is optimal, especially as you are going through IVF.

No but I'm seeing my eno in a couple of weeks maybe I should ask for some as I never really look I just take his word as it all baffles me

You should be able to get the results through your GP. Dont leave it, you need to take charge of your health. When you get your last results, make a new post and members will help interpret them

You should also discuss with your endo about switching from Carbimazole which crosses the placenta and can cause foetal damage. Propylthirouracil (PTU) is usually prescribed during pregnancy.

I already have and it gave me horrible side effects 😞 So I feel a little deflated and stressed ATM witch probably is not helping

I recommend you discuss the potential effects of Carbimazole on the foetus with your doctors. 10mg is a low dose and it may be possible to wean you off.

We have talked about this already I was put back on carbizmol to help bring me back down till I have my implantation and then hopefully wean me down if pregnancy takes place or try ptu again
