Anybody who knows?

Latest results :

Ft4 17.6(10-19.8)

Ft3 6.7 (3.5-6.5)

T4 and t3 taken 24h prior test. An taking 125t4 and 18.75 t3 will lower t3 to either 6.25 or 12.5

Are you taking any T4? Do you still have a working thyroid? Not enough information, I'm afraid. :)

It might, slightly. But, I don't think it's anything to worry about.

Emits,

I can't see why it would. Your FT3 is mildly over range. Reducing T3 dose by 6.25mcg should be sufficient.

Thanks, but if I take that results and add 20% since it was 24h+ since last dose the level is even higher.

Is that ft4 result good if on levo?

Emits,

I took that into account when I suggested a 6.25mcg reduction would be sufficient.

FT4 17.6 is in the upper range and is good.

Oh, sorry. I'm just trying to grasp this.

I've never lowered T3, only increased it. With those results I'd lower T3 by 6.25mcg now and see what happens.

Do you want FT4 higher? When taking T3, FT4 generally lowers.

Oh, I don't know what to do really. I just want to feel OK. When I look at my notes I rated the days on 6.25 higher than after the increase. So hard to know what to do.

Emits,

Reduce gradually. If you feel overmedicated on 12.5mcg after a few weeks you can make a further reduction to 6.25mcg.

Ok, the thing is that I don't really feel overmedicated. I thought that I needed an increase. The only thing is hard heartbeat when going up the stairs..

It's all about tweaking to find the dose where we feel best. I started adding T3 to Levo 18 months ago, still tweaking, not helped by Unipharma not being available and having to introduce a different brand of T3.

Are your vitamins and minerals all optimal? That's very important. Mine weren't when I originally introduced T3, and now they are I'm finding that my original poor conversion has improved somewhat - found that out by reducing Levo and not only did my FT4 plummet but my FT3 reduced a fair bit too. When I put the Levo back up the FT3 rose quicker than the FT4.

Do you have Hashimoto's and what are your vitamin levels like?

Hard heartbeat could be due to various things

The endo said that I haven't got Hashimoto's my tpo_ab was 50(<60)

When I asked about tg-ab he said he didn't believe in those..

My vits was optimal in June.
