Hi any help advice please iv had pernicious anemia for 10 years , and just developed enlarged thyroid, normal blood results and waiting for a scan .

Could you post your blood results and the ranges. May be easier to comment then.

Usually if we have one autoimmune condition we can develop others. I have both P.A. and Hypothyroidism.
Tests for thyroid hormones should always be at the very earliest, fasting (you can drink water) and if you were taking thyroid hormone replacements, miss the early a.m. dose and take after blood test. There should be around 24hours gap between last dose and test.
Always get a print-out of your blood test results with the ranges (ranges are important) and post if you have a query. The aim is a gradual increase in dose till you are symptom-free and feel well. With a TSH of around 1.
Ask GP to test B12, Vit D, iron, ferritin and folate next test as well.
