Hi Wrote on here a while ago regards seeing doctor as my weight wouldn't shift and blood results had gone up ! He just ignored me basically and said he wouldn't put up my medications 75mil However last week I had to see my own doctor and I just said what is happening to my body!? Straight away he got my graph readings so far and was surprised the doctor had not increased !! He now has started me on 100 blood test in 6 weeks but thinks I should be 125 g . So just want to say whoever commented last time and recognised my medication was too low thanks ! I have been eating so healthy exercising and only lost a very small amount in 2 months !! Any advice on weight loss ?

Weight gain is the commonest question on the forum. It is due to our metabolism being so slow due to hypothyroidism and it is a clinical symptom.

Hopefully, as your dose is slowly increased to an optimum (a TSH of around 1 or lower) that your weight will reduce. Don't exercise or diet until you are on an optimum of hormones as that will only reduce your T3. T3 is the only active thyroid hormone which drives our whole metabolism.
