I was on T3 only for about 3 months in order to clear my reverse T3.
I took 25 mcg of T3 daily.
FT3 4,87 ( 2,30 - 7,00 )
FT4 10,5 ( 10,3 - 24,5 )
TSH 0,91 ( 0,35 - 5,50) - and this was just fantastic! I haven't had such low TSH for ages! I felt myself full of power, energy, had no palpitations etc.
Then i decided to add step by step T4.
Now i'm on 18,75 mcg T3 plus 25 mcg T4.
The results are very disappointed.
FT3 2,45 ( 2,43 - 3,98 )
FT4 0,90 ( 0,80 - 2,10 )
TSH 3,83 ( 0,27 - 4,2 )
What shall i do? I take the same quantity of T4+ T3 to be compared with T3 only.
And i feel myself a little bit worse - tiredness, fog, palpitations.
Shall i prolong my T3 + T4? Or it would be better to take T3 only again?
I'm on my own with no endo.
All the necessary supplements are taken daily , B12 and iron are in injections and infusion.
Thank you

I took 50 mcg of T4 till December, then stopped it.
THe results were as follows:
FT3 3,28 ( 2,43 - 3,98 )
FT4 1,19 ( 0,80 - 2,10 )
TSH 4,64 ( 0,27 - 4,2 )
50 mcg of T4 were the biggest quantity i could tolerate. Trying to add more i had very strong palpitations( plus all the other things - legs pain, constipation, weight increase, fog, depression, memory problems etc)
You were undermedicated on 50mcg to have TSH 4.64.
25mcg T3 is equivalent to 75mcg Levothyroxine but T3 and T4 obviously aren't bioequivalent for you.
I'd stick with the 18.75mcg T3 and increase Levothyroxine to 50mcg and in 6 weeks raise to 75mcg. Hold at 75mcg for 6 weeks and have a thyroid function test before increasing further.
