Please Could I have any advice from anyone who sources their own T3 or NDT without a prescription

Hi Everyone

I have had some great advice on here and now I'm in the position of either staying on Levo and feeling really poorly or sourcing my own T3 or NDT my GP at my last appt said my thyroid is now normal and the Endo was happy to let my TSH to go back to over 10!!!

I'm not in a position to be able to afford to go private , but I feel a little scared to order off the internet without a prescription! ! I was given advice to try ordering from Thailand but I'd like to order from someone who knows it's safe and reliable 😀 I'm not even sure whether I'd be best on T3 or NDT but I'm getting an allergic rash now I've increased my Levo so I'm going to try something else as soon as possible . My results are as follows

Levo 50mcg

TSH 4.05 (0.3-5.5) was 10.8 in July

T4 14.4 (12-22)

T3 4.6 (3.1-6.8)

TPO 450 (34)

Anyone able to offer advice or private message to help me source my medication online would be very much appreciated

Thankyou Kazbe x

The problem is that your GP and Endocrinologist don't know anything about how to treat someone with hypothyroidism.

It is shown by the fact that a patient being treated with levothyroxine is told that their TSH is now 'normal'.

TSH is from the pituitary gland and once it has risen 10 or above (in the UK) we get prescribed levo and it should be increased until our TSH is 1 or lower, not somewhere in the range where yours is. Average doses of levo can be between 100 and 200mcg but some need more to have relief of all clinical symptoms and you feel well.

You can help reduce your antibodies by going Gluten free.

Members who have the information you require will respond by Private Message and NDT contains all of the hormones a healthy gland would, i.e. T4, T3, T2, T1 and calcitonin and has been in use since 1892 and most Endocrinologists have believed False Rumours made about it. I do wonder if it came from the Pharmaceutical companies who'd lose a lot of money if levothyroxine was not the No.1 prescription any more.

You can also add T3 to your existing levothyroxine. So you have a couple of alternatives.

I will now close your post for responses on the forum, and members will send you a Private Message.
