Hi all I am on T3 have been for thirteen years T4 made me extremely ill and I list a good ten years of my life on it my consultants put me on T3 after trying every avenue I absolutely cannot and will never take T4 ever again T3 has changed my life for the better and more or less cured my hypothyroidism if I didn't need T3 I wouldn't be on it would I I have all my consultants letters to presant day saying I must not take this toxic drug I'm lucky to be alive as a thyroid storm was created by this drug I have and cannot convert T4 some poeple can't after all we are all different thinking they were going to take my T3 away has made me feel suicidal after all it is not my fault I have to take T3 besides there should always be a back up drugs for people like me and others that most definitely cannot tolerate T4 you have to suffer from this awful condition to understand how one feels I would rather die with no drugs than die on a drug that was killing me wrong so wrong please don't take my T3 away from me thank you ..πŸ’•

Are you in the U.K. and have you been threatened incorrectly and inappropriately with having your prescription removed?

If you have previously been on T3 and have a clinical need for it, it should not legally be removed. Do not give up hope or stress yourself out with the CCG β€˜powers that be’. You can self medicate. I have pm’d You with my supplier who is very reliable should you need to temporarily go down that route. And for anyone reading this - please do not ask me to pm you as I’ve learnt it’s long and arduous (I haven’t updated my phone so I have to remember your user name, type it in,etc) BUT feel free to drop me a message so I can reply.

Positive vibes Luna. This forum are here for you πŸ’œ
