Hi - I have read through your last few posts and I think there has been some confusion. This is not because people have been giving you wrong advice, rather it is because you have been somewhat sparse with information. If I am reading the situation correctly - confirm please - you are not on any thyroid medication but you have had a thyroid test that shows your tsh is on the edge of range. The GP has followed protocol to eliminate a non-thyroidal cause and has told you to come back in 4 weeks for another test, this time to include anti-bodies. This delay is in case a virus, for instance, is causing a raised tsh rather than an actual thyroid problem. So your GP seems to be doing ok.

You have also been put on a vit D dose of 20,000 iu/week for low vit d. You have been asked several times what your actual level was but you seem to have been unable to confirm as yet.

You also haven't been able to confirm levels for other nutrients vit b12, folate and ferritin.

What I suggest you do is go and ask your GP's receptionist for a copy of your latest blood results (you are legally entitled to these) and put them in a new post, with a bit of explanation, not just a few numbers and ask for advice. Always include the ranges as labs differ. They should look something like tsh 4.8 (0.4-4.2). Post any you can find from tsh, ft4, ft3, anti-bodies, folate, ferritin, vit d and vit b12.

We will try and do everything we can to help, but you do need to do your best to answer questions that are asked of you as without these, there can be no proper advice.
