Been feeling a bit rubbish so gp did my thyroid bloods but as usual only
T4 and TSH
Those results are
TSH 0.19 ( 0.27-4.2)
T4 19.5 (12-22)
Had them done by bio lab
These are the results
FT4 16.2 ..(9-22)
FT3 3.67 (2.63-5.70)
TSH 0.12 ( 0.35-4.94)
I have a few symptoms back and my neuropathy has flared up I am under some stress at the moment so wondering if my ft3 is too low as not converting bevcause if stress ?
I haven't taken any vitamin D for a few months thinking the sun was here but maybe that is low it wasn't tested !
My last tests with biolab were done in Nov 2016
Which are as follows
Ft4 18.8 (9-22)
FT3 4.10 ( 2.63-5.70)
TSH 0.19 (0.35 -4.94)
Felt well then
I'm taking 75mcg /100mcg on alternate days
I would appreciate you thoughts ?

Why not test your vitamin D and start back on supplements if result is low
If start taking vitamin B complex, or any supplements containing biotin, remember to stop these 3-5 days before any blood tests, as biotin can falsely affect test results
Hiya thank you for your reply ,funny you should mention b vits I'm waiting for my B1 B2 B6 results from Biolab as I seem to be always defiecent I think because I am a coeliac ? I expect my vitD is low we haven't had much of a summer ☹️ Will look at the article you sent thank you , I was thinking maybe I need a slight increase in Levo ? To 100mcg everyday instead of alternative days ? I've got Awful digestive problems which I had before being diagnosed plus other symptoms 😡 Many thanks for your reply xxxx
Hiya thank you for your reply and info I have been gluten free for over 25 years as I have coeliac disease .. but thank you for the links .. I'm waiting for my B1 B2 B6 results and I have always taken probiotics Biokult twice a day even trying Yakult .. the way I feel is very similar to how I felt before starting thyroxine .. indigestion feeling burping even water and phelm in my throat think from post nasal drip ?
I'm going to my GP on weds and going to see if he agrees to me taking 100mcg everyday instead of 75 /100 alternate days if he doesn't I will have to go solo and just try ? I've started vitamin D again today ., thank you for your info I've printed the last lot off it's easier for me to read 👍
Hi just a update been to GP he started by saying that my FT3 was middle of the range so should be fine !! I shot him down in flames and said look at my last few results felt well when near the top of the FT3 range .. he agreed up the dose in the end to 100mcg a day instead of 75/100 on alternate days
He said I was the only patient who he let bully him lol .. told him he best hope it works or I will be back !! Told him I have started taking vitamin D again he said that's good !
The way I felt this morning I don't think he wanted to argue with me and to tell the truth if he had said NO dont increase I would have gone solo .. fingers crossed I feel better soon
