Hi I am new. kinda worried about my thyroid. My blood tests shows I have hyperthyroidism. my blood work showed it to be 0.0. Could someone explain. They are working on getting me a appointment with a specialists.

Is that your TSH reading? Is that all they tested? That is not enough to make a diagnosis on. You also need FT4, FT3 and antibodies.

But, I can't explain much if you don't know which test was done. Sorry. :)

Hi im hyperthyroid have been for nearly 2months now, greygoose is right you need all your other bloodwork results aswell. Doc should prescribe you with meds but you will have to wait to see a specialist as there is a list as long as your arm, i have mine finally after 3 months wait and tben it has been moved 3 times. Gather as much info as you can about your condition and take lots of advice from this great forum.x
