Well along came some hair very slowly then I was given Nitrofurantoin antibiotic and growth stops The medical profession are adamant that hair loss is not due to this drug I was on this long term when my hair started to fall I'm really confused was it arthritis thyroid FM or these antibiotics I have been using a lotion made by Vosene a rejuvenating hair loss with arginine I bought it a couple of years ago to thicken my thin locks Unfortunately it's discontinued a £3 bottle if you are lucky enough to get rolls in at £12 online This is like a jigsaw puzzle with the wrong picture on the box No pieces fit nothing adds up and hair continues to upset me Hoping everyone with a good head of hair takes good care of it Your so lucky. Onwards and upwards everyone

I see your GP ordered B12 tests, what were the results? Check out nitrofurantoin interraction with B12, is there an interraction? Is there any interraction with levothyroxine?

Are you taking your thyroxine at least 2 hours away from anything else. If so absorption can be low
