Advice please

Probably being silly but would like to ask anyway.

I've been taking 20mg Carbimazole for 5/6 weeks and I'm getting a cold. Normally I wouldn't bother as it is only a cold and I don't feel bad (yet) but should I ring the docs? Has it the same dangers as sore throats? (which I haven't got)
