Blood test advice please

I am a fairly new member to this excellent forum and need to know if I took fasting bloods (private) this morning, posted it, then realized a bank holiday may interfere with collection times,and the post is not being collected until 4.45pm tomorrow.

Should I assume bloods will need to be repeated if unsuitable to test?

1. Will Lab let me know?

Saw GP recently and asked for blood test (incl Hashimotos test) to be brought forward.....DONE!

2. Should post both results here?

BTW have taken todays Levothyroxine on time!

Do you mean you have taken blood tests a.m. and fasted but did you leave 24 hours gap between last dose of levo and test? If not the results will be skewed.

Fasted (off Levo)for 24 hrs Nothing to eat or drink since midnight Bloods taken at 6am, posted now OK
