Thyroiditis again two years after RAI

Hi brand new to the site and grateful for any advice please.

I had Radioiodine treatment 2 years ago after thyroiditis with enlarged multinodular goitre. I can't remember the figures but very high thyroid antibodies. I went overactive initially after the RAI but then settled on 150mg Levothyroxine, which I still take now. Over last few months had increased symptoms of hyperthyroidism and last week doctor confirmed thyroid swollen, so she's referred me for ultrasound. My tsh came back at 0.15. I'm getting more symptoms of overactive and I guess I'm just after advice as where I go from here? Will consultant recommend another dose of RAI? Sorry to ramble but I feel like this could just fluctuate forever if I don't follow the right treatment! Thank you.

What diagnosis have you been given? Have you had antibodies tests and if so which ones? It's important to know what your antibodies status is in order to understand why your thyroid is going overactive.

Check your blood test results for TPO and TgAb and also any blood tests that have been done to check for Graves disease (nothing to do with graves, just named after the person who identified it). If you post antibodies results here then people might be able to help you understand what is happening.

RubyTuesday13,

If your thyroid has regrown and is producing excess hormone your consultant will probably recommend RAI or thyroidectomy.
