Hi

Am going for a blood test tomorrow and he has requested;

T4

TSH

FSH

LH

Prolactin

Androgen profile

Now i feel like saying there should be a T3 test along with an AMH test to see ovarian reserve

Do you think its cheeky if i add those two on the request? Its handwritten and as i am already having a test im sure 2 other tests wouldnt really be a huge issue?

Also i didnt take my levothyroxine this morning as i was advised by someone on this forum.

Plz let me know i knw its late but just thought what would u guys do!? Should i just add t3 and amh test on there?! Or should i tell them to add that on?

Thanks

I wouldn't dare add them without asking. They know what they ordered, it's on your record and each test costs extra. I would be worried they would bill me for the added tests even if it is NHS or refuse to treat me further, it's a long drive to the next nearest gp's.

Even with T3 added the lab may refuse to do it!!!
