Could someone help with these results please. They seem ok to me apart from the T4 which seems a bit low and folate looks a bit low. I am currently on 100 mcg of levo and 12.5/16.75 on alternate days of t3. I supplement most things including solgar b complex vits, wondering how I can increase my folate levels❓Thanks as always in anticipation of your wonderful help on this site. P.s. Not feeling as good as I did, bit of fatigue creeping back in😞

Skelly82 - your FT4 will be on the lower side as you are taking T3. It's roughly the same as mine and I take 100mcg Levo with 25mcg T3. If you tweak your meds and add more Levo, it will most likely push your FT3 over range as well as increasing FT4. You could maybe try taking 12.5mcg T3 every day and increasing your Levo a bit to see if that helps. It's all trial and error trying to find the right combination.
Are you supplementing Vit D? If so you should stop now, retest in October and keep to the recommended level of 100-150nmol/L with whatever maintenance dose suits you.
How much folate in your Solgar B Complex? And is it folic acid or methylfolate? You really need a B Complex that contains 400mcg methylfolate, look at Thorne Basic B (1 capsule) or Metabolics B Complelx (2 capsules).
If you are supplementing iron, you now only need to maintain that level and eating liver regularly will do that instead of iron tablets.
Thanks for your prompt reply. I think I might try that adjustment with my levo as I think I felt better when my T4 was higher. I am supplementing vit D so will stop like you said. Ah I've looked and the folate isn't methylfolate so I will try another brand. I have been supplementing with gentle iron, I enjoy liver so will eat that instead 😊
Thanks so much for all your help, you are keeping me sane on this journey ‼️
When I tweaked my Levo, I found that going down to 75mcg from 100mcg made me feel very unwell. When I increased back to 100mcg I started to feel better (eventually!). I was quite surprised. It's all about finding what suits you best.
Good to hear you like liver, so many people say YUCK without trying it
