Welcome to the forum, Linsoul.

Members are more inclined to share sources when you include background like recent thyroid results and ranges and current thyroid medication.

Mistcat,

Because they may want to know the person with whom they are sharing information has thyroid disease, specifically hypothyroidism. We've seen hyperthyroid members requesting T4, T3 and NDT and euthyroid members requesting thyroid hormone thinking it will be a weight loss aid.

Hey everyone,

I get blood work annually through Life Extension. If you don't have a doctor and still want to get blood work done, you can do it through Life Extension and then review the blood results with one of their doctors. So fabulous!! I have worked with several doctors over the last few years unsuccessfully. Unfortunately, the medical profession, at least when it comes to thyroid issues, doesn't know which end is up. I am hypothyroid and take Nature Throid as well as iodine. It keeps me sane but I believe my thyroid could work even better than it does. I purchase from <site deleted> but more often than not they are out of stock. <site deleted> also sells it but very overpriced. Was wondering if anyone knew of any other reputable places I could purchase from so I have more choices. Thank you.
