On a whole don't feel too bad just some patchy itchy skin hair still falling out mid day tiredness and occasional random aches that come and go from out of the blue. Still a little foggy brained but this has improved
Thanks in advance Netty

I'm glad you don't feel too bad. When you get results, ask for a print-out as the ranges will also be stated. Labs differ and so do the ranges and knowing the ranges make a response more accurate.
If your TSH is 1.7 you need an increase to bring it to 1 or below.
Your T4 should be nearer the upper part of the range. It is too low. So I am assuming T3 must also be too low.
Usually we are given an increase of 25mcg levothyroxine about every six weeks.
Sometimes it depends upon when you had the test. The recommendation is that all blood tests have to be at the very earliest, fasting (you can drink water). You should also allow a gap of 24 hours between the last dose and the test. The reason is that the TSH is higher early a.m. and drops throughout the day, which may mean the doctor reducing your dose - which we don't want. The aim is a TSH of 1 or lower and a Free T4 an Free T3 towards the upper part of the range but these latter two are rarely tested.
Levothyroxine should be taken first thing with one full glass of water and wait about an hour before eating. Food can interfere with the uptake. Coffee can also interfere:-
