I posted on here over a week ago explaining that my TSH levels were 6.97, I was on 25mcg but after going back to the docs they increased it to 50mcg, my question is how long before I start to feel the effect? I'm extremely tired with low energy levels even after 8-10hrs sleep, I'm starting a new job in a few weeks and need to be focused, do you think this dose is correct? I'm feeling like it should be higher? Does anyone else suffer from extreme fatigue from this and if so have you found anything natural that helps in addition to the medication? All my other readings for vit d, b, iron etc are all normal. Any advice is welcome, thank you x

It probably should be higher. But, you can only increase by 25 mcg every six weeks. Anything more would put too much strain on your body.
Did your doctor tell you your nutrients were 'normal'? If so, all he meant was they're in range. Do you have the actual numbers? There is sometimes a huge difference between just in range, and optimal.
Yes, get a hold of your results and post here. (My remember my chiropractor buddy telling me they receive tons more training on nutrition/nutrients than mds. So most Gps haven't a flipping clue). And we ignore "normal" readings here - if you have thyroid disease you have to be optimal, not normal ... huge difference!
