Momo1948,

I've commented on your thyroid results and I don't think they will be causing aches and tingling and fatigue.

Ferritin is optimal halfway through range. You can raise ferritin by supplementing iron with 1,000mg vitamin C to aid absorption and minimise constipation.

VitD 88 is in the replete range 75 - 200. No need to supplement until Oct - April when ultraviolet light is low.

Ask your GP to check B12. Tingling in extremities is a sign of low B12.

Folate is low in range. I would supplement low dose folic acid or a B Complex vitamin.

Hi Clutter I'm just off to see GP lucky enough it's the locum who usually is a bit more helpful I went back on here to old posts to read up a bit more on low tsh low t4 with t3 t4 combination Thank you so much for your replies with the vitamins as well GP said folate and ferritin OK, as for my b12 star against that 1500 so looks like he will bring that up too so my every 8 week injection probably go to 3 monthly it was 2000 last July never said anything..... I'm getting there still learning!

Momo1948,

By "Okay" your GP means they are within range. Sure, they are within range but they aren't optimal. Nothing to stop you supplementing to see whether symptoms improve.

Ask for advice on healthunlocked.com/pasoc about B12 levels. I know some people feel naff when injections wear off and supplement sublinguals, patches or spray inbetween injections.
