Hi

Been told my cortisol is 218mmols/L and glycated haemoglobin was 42mmols/mol and have got to have a short synacthen test .......what does it all mean???

I suspect cortisol 218 must be low because the short synacthen test is a test for suspected adrenal failure or insufficiency.

Glycated haemoglobin (HbA1C) is a test for diabetes. google.co.uk/search?q=glyca...
