Digestive Enzymes

Hello, has anyone suffered with stomach ache while taking digestive enzymes? I am taking Biotics Research Intenzyme Forte which includes porcine, pineapple, papaya & vegetable enzymes. Apparently I have gut dysbiosis with low stomach acid and candida and was advised to take digestive enzymes by a nutritionist.

I can't help I'm afraid Jo, but thank you for mentioning this as my nutritionist has just added Biotics Research Intenzyme Forte to my supplements, so I shall be on the lookout for stomach pain now. She's suggested I take it for reducing inflammation. For dysbiosis in the past I've taken Lamberts Digestizyme which was fine but Lamberts Bromelain gave me sudden blood sugar drops after a meal and I stopped taking it once I realised what was happening. Because of that I've been wondering about the pineapple in the Intenzyme.

Hi Framboise, thank you for reply. I'll be interested to know if you have any adverse reactions to the Intenzyme Forte. I haven't taken any today but will try again tomorrow. Jo x
