Hi should I be taking NDT all in one go, or space it out over the day? I'm currently taking grain in the morning and one early afternoon, but I'm not sure if this is the best option.

Because the T3 in NDT has a short life in the body, it's best to space it out. Space it out for however makes you good I'd say. If you feel like the hit of the T3 in the dose you take in the morning for example is too high then maybe split into three doses instead.

The best option is the one that suits you. Some people need to space it out, others feel best taking it all in one go. There is no 'should' about it. Try taking it all at once, see if it works better. If not, go back to the way you were.

Trying to space it out more often during the day would cause problems with eating and drinking. Because you still need to take it on an empty stomach, one hour away from food or drink other than water, etc. So, if taking it all in one go suits you, then it would be much easier.

prob easier on the body to split since t3 doesn't last long...and according to my dr, it is best on body and adrenals that way.....but other drs like dr dach said do it in one go bec of the empty stomach etc..........I will say...sometimes you get a headache if you take 2 grains all at once....and therefore you have to split.....and if you ever have a 2 grain pill you can split it and divide the dosage too...
