I'm confused a little. I read a lot about reducing antibodies ( I have Hashimotos and have several antibodies ) I was told by doctor that once antibodies are present they are present for life such as EBV and C-anca positive antibodies I have among others.

Antibodies
Romany,
Antibody levels fluctuate and are highest after an autoimmune flare up and then subside until the next. Thyroid peroxidase (TPO) and thyroglobulin (Tg) antibodies (Hashimoto's) may sometimes reduce after adopting 100% gluten-free diet but it doesn't work for everyone and probably doesn't do so for other antibodies. My Hashimoto's TPO burned out after thyroidectomy. I don't know if TgAb were ever elevated but they are negative now.
IF you have them they are active and your autoimmunity is working against you. They can be reduced to almost undetectable levels if you take steps like going gluten free, addressing and healing your leaky gut, eradicating EBV (or putting it dormant again) though the difficult question is how to do it in your particular case. Have a look at Izabella Wentz's Hashimoto's Protocols for some inspiration.
