iodine
If you are hypo, it's not recommended. What exactly do you expect it to do for you? At least get tested, first, to see if you're iodine deficient. Excess iodine is not good for anybody. It's not something to play around with.
Greygoose is right. I don't have antibodies and have taken kelp for at least 20 years but I'm reading that's very variable and not pure so I keep thinking about changing. But it's not for everyone. I keep saying I must look into testing but still haven't got around to it. Please let me know what you decide-might be the push I need!
Hi, if you're going to take iodine - which I'd recommend for many reasons - make sure you follow a good protocol with related supplements such as selenium.

If you are Hashimoto's this might not be a good idea to take Iodine...its a good idea to have your iodine levels tested first.
