Thyroid abnormalities

Hi. This is Ruth and I have thyroid nodules which have been biopsied. My next suggestion from the physician is to have the nodules and/or the thyroid removed. I would like to find something natural to remove these or to help clear up the 26 hypothyroidism from my system. Choking whether it is on saliva or food is becoming more prominent, as well as the gradual loss of my voice.

Does your physician think your nodules are causing a problem, then? Most people have nodules, even if they don't have a thyroid problem.

I don't know what you mean by '26 hypothyroidism'. Do you mean that your TSH is 26? If so, you are very hypo, and need some sort of thyroid hormone replacement. Being hypo means that your thyroid can no longer produce enough hormone to keep you alive. And, the only way to replace a hormone, is to take a hormone. You can't do it with vitamins, or anything like that. NDT - pig thyroid - is said to be natural, but it is still processed, and has fillers added to make it a pill. But even the synthetic versions are just hormones, they're not drugs.
