Hi everyone, I'm a new member to the community and I'm glad to have found a community of people who understand what I'm going through. I have been having a lot of thyroid related symptoms lately and that includes loss of sense of smell and taste so I was wondering whether anyone has experienced this and how to treat it.

Ask your GP to do a thyroid function test and post the results and ranges in a new question for advice.

Arrange the blood test early in the morning when TSH is highest and fast (water only) as tSH drops after eating and drinking.
