Common problem, either your medication is not quite right or you may have low vitamins

So post your thyroid results here. Ideally should have results for TSH, FT4, FT3 and TPO & TG antibodies. Need lab ranges too (figures in brackets).

Have you also got test results for vitamin D, folate, B12 and ferritin, including ranges

Low vitamin D may be linked to poor sleep

I agree with SlowDragon that you need to get your TSH, FT3, FT4, vit D3, serum iron, ferritin (or TIBC) and B12 tested. Post them here, please.

When we, hypothyroid people, cannot sleep it's because:

- we on the wrong dose on thyroid medication,

- thyroid medication we take doesn't suit us e.g. you may need T4/T3 combo, ndt or T3-only, instead of levo.

- we have low D3 or iron and our thyroid medication doesn't work.

Insomnia is actually an adrenal problem, not a hypothyroid problem. For one or more of the reasons listed above your adrenals are not happy. You need to get the test done before you can figure it out.
