Smelling your food makes you fat

Not sure what to think about this.

I do not eat any candies, but I can smell them and I imagine how they taste. Haven't gained any weight! :P

But to be serious, this is interesting theory!

I am living proof that this is not true in humans, (well, this human, anyway!) I've never lost any weight in the dozen years I've had anosmia, quite the opposite in fact. 😢

Like I said it's interesting theory, but you came and proved it isn't that simple :D I figure on a paper it can work if there is nothing else wrong. But in reality as we know things are far more complicated.

But, then again, you are hypo. The mice weren't, as far as we know.
