Joannagof,
Levothyroxine can cause hair loss but it will usually improve once you are optimally dosed.

I completely understand how worrying it is to lose your hair. Most times it can be a clinical symptom of hypothyroidism which, as dose is increased to optimum, hair problem may resolve. However, make an appointment with your GP to look at your hair as you may have an autoimmune condition and, if so, he should advise what steps should be taken, or a referral.
Have you had your B12 tested?
There are several vitamin deficiencies that can cause hair loss. Also you need to make sure you are getting enough good fats and omega 3.
There's a link here to some good info.
