New test results. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi folks. I've not posted on here for a while as I have been feeling really well and have at last started to see a little bit of weight come off.

Briefly, the last time I posted blood results I appeared to be a little bit overmedicated on 2.5 grains Thyroid S, so I reduced it to 2grains. But I was having a great deal of trouble with my feet (plantar faciitis). On Levo (75) I had a problem with my wrist and trigger finger, but no problems with my feet. So I started alternating about six weeks at a time on each. and got about 3 out of the six weeks feeling not too bad before either hands or the feet got bad, depending on which medication I was on. An increase of Levo got rid of the problems with my hands, but I felt utterly dreadful. So I dropped the Levo and stuck with 2 grains ThyS - and reached a stage where I actually felt really well. Happy, reasonably fit, though not doing a great deal of any sort of exercise, and started to lose a little bit of weight. Marvellous, I thought! I think I've cracked it!! Then, about 3 or 4 weeks ago my feet started hurting again. Low mood, very teary. Extremely tired. Cramps.

So far as I know, the only difference was that I started trying to exercise to help with the weight loss. Haha. I know that exercise can reduce the T3.

So. I think I'm undermedicated. I think my vitamin levels are good.

Comments would be appreciated.

By the way, it was over 24hours from last dose of NDT to blood draw due to difficulty in getting someone to draw the blood - I don't know how much that would affect the result.

It looks like your folate is on the low side.

I think I have read that T3 leaves the blood after eight hours - which may explain the low result ....

Ferritin - often suggested to be mid-range.

VitD - around 100 is optimal.

B12 result will be skewed if you are supplementing ...

Folate could do with a nudge upwards .
