My T3 has been stopped because it is too expensive apparently. :s Can anyone advise where I can purchase it from privately and the approximate cost?

T3
Assume you are UK based
Are you under care on an NHS endo? How long ago and why were you prescribed T3.
Most importantly were you well and stable on it. If so you need to challenge the decision
Ask for immediate referral back to endo if need be
See this article from Daily Mail just this week

Taking patients off T3 if they are stable goes directly against medical guidelines

If you can't get decision overturned, best option at moment may be private prescription. Then you have options
Non prescription route is very tricky at moment as so many are in similar situation to yourself
Samybrook,
You should appeal in writing to your GP and the CCG who have decided this. Attach a copy of the BTA FAQS to GPs which clearly states that T3 should be prescribed according to clinical need and not withdrawn on the basis of cost. Copy your MP on the correspondence.
