Has anyone on t3 only (or I suppose anyone at all) had 'undetectable' levels of iodine despite using supplements? What could this mean?

Hi there, I'm on T3 only. Iodine is contained in these meds so unlikely to be getting none. I think iodine testing is not so straight forward and not sure how reliable it is. However, I would point out that too much iodine can cause thyroid problems just as much as too little so you might want to just ensure you're getting enough in food intake and/or not getting too much rather than supplementing. Selenium can help the negative impact of high iodine too so ensure getting enough of this too or eat a couple of brazil nuts from selenium rich soils every day also.
There are websites like cronometer which can help you track all your micronutrients and so on.
