Hi I have ISTH ( impaired sensitivity to Thyroid hormone ) and I need desperately to purchase T3 only medication as T4 is making me more and more ill. Can anyone please private message me where I can obtain thank you.

Can you post your recent TSH, FT4 and FT3 results and ranges?

How do you know you have ISTH?

TSH 4.2 ( 0.27 - 4.20 )

FT4 16.44 ( 12 -22)

FT3 3.93 ( 3.1 - 6.8)

rT3 28 ( 10 -24 )

rT3 ratio 9.14 ( normal >15 . Borderline 12 -15 Low < 12

I fit all criteria rotten by Dr John C Lowe. and in book by Hugh J Hamilton.

Romany,

ISTH usually presents with high TSH and high FT4. I would have suggested increasing Levothyroxine to raise FT4 and FT3 but rT3 is already high so it would be better to reduce Levothyroxine and add in some T3. You can add 10mcg T3 for every 25mcg Levothyroxine you reduce.
