It's probably because you have nutritional deficiencies - because you're low in Vit D and ferritin and folate etc.

There are loads of causes and you could probably scare yourself to death reading them :) - but that's the most likely cause.

Once your levels of vits and minerals come up, it should sort itself out.

You're probably wondering why your vits and minerals are low. It's another side effect of hypothyroidism. It tends to reduce stomach acid so that you don't absorb the nutrients from your food as well as you should. Again - once you're optimally treated that should improve too.
