printer, you have not improved much from 7 months ago. What did you decide to do about your levo and T3? I think it's good to take both and if you only want to take one, I would take the T3 instead of the Levo. Whatever you are doing you are not taking enough. Your TPO antibodies were high and probably have not come down. You really have to take some action here. Are you avoiding gluten, fluoride, chlorine? Are you taking B12 which seemed to be high so if you are NOT supplementing you might have a methylation problem.

You can check some of your lab tests here:

I would never go back to Levo with that scenario. Ft4 will always appear low when you are taking T3 but if you feel better without levo, don't take it for your doctor's sake. I took T3 only for two years and had no problems at all. I'm starting to believe that many people will do better on T3 than T4 because conversion is very . Is your doctor prescribing the T3, is that the problem? I think people can PM you where they get T3 if you ask.

Tell your doctor that you seem unable to use T4 because the symptoms return when you do.

You need to be healthy to convert T4 to T3 and we usually aren't that well. Maybe later you can add T4 when all your labs are excellent. You can also read about T3 only and other questions you have on this site. stopthethyroidmadness.com/r...

Thank you i buy the T3 from Greece when I go on holiday, with the results I've gave do you think I need to increase the dose now if I stay on T3 only maybe take 25 on a morning and 12.5 on an afternoon as I usually get tired then and I have a desk job where I have to really concentrate and I feel by the afternoon I am not able to do that, sorry for all the questions I really appreciate your help.

I don't mind your questions at all, printer. The medical profession is holding us all hostage in a way so I think we should encourage each other to get free from the bondage. I'm thankful we can get T3 ourselves. Uni-Pharma is very good.

Have you been on higher doses of thyroid before?

I think you do need an increase but maybe should start with a quarter of the tablet first and see how the first week goes and raise to half of a tablet.

Did your doctor say anything about your high FSH or do you have any ideas about that? There are several tests that are off. Did you look those up? Of course, once you get your thyroid straightened out, those may resolve. Of course if you are taking other hormones or birth control perhaps there is a reason.

Did you happen to read this about T3 and the NHS?

Why take Vitamin D & what dose? Your result last year was high in range. Overdosing can cause toxicity.

I have thank you Heloise it's very interesting, can i ask you if i am taking T3 am i helping my thyroid or do i need T4 aswell so that it is in my system all of the time. I am still worrying about what my doctor said but i am reluctant to take Levo again as it made me feel like a zombie and gave me leg pains or could this have been because I wasnt optimal.
