HI EVERYONE I AM ARLENE AND I AM NEW. CAN ANYONE HELP ME WITH APLASTIC ANEMIA. I NEED A HOLISTIC APPROACH TO LOWER IRON STORAGE? I AM 73 AND JUST DIAGNOSED WITH THE APLASTIC ANEMIA. HAVE HAD HIGH FERRITIN LEVEL OF 400 WHEN IT SHOULD BE 75. I HAVE IGNORED THIS CONDITION FOR 10 YEARS AND NOW WAS DIAGNOSED WITH APLASTIC ANEMIA. I AM FRIGHTENED. HELP.

Ferritin may be raised when you have inflammation in the body. If that is the case finding and treating the source of inflammation is the way to reduce high ferritin levels.
