I have just received my test results from Medichecks. I had a similar test done last October, so I have enclosed both results.
Since the test in October (I was taking 100 Levo only), I started to add some T3, slowly, a quarter 25 tablet every two weeks. Once I had reached 1 whole tablet - I decreased my Levo down to 75. I have been on these doses since February.
I totally don't understand these latest results! I want to take more T3, but I don't know if the Levo level is right either! Not sure how my T3 can be less when I am now taking it!
Symptoms wise, I feel no better at all, I still keep gaining weight, constant changes in body temp, very dry skin & eyes, and don't get my started on the state of my hair! I have a lot of oedema also.
I am also currently receiving treatment from my hospital, as regards a poor liver, due to my Anorexia, which I still have. I was also recently diagnosed with Fibromyalgia as well.
If anyone can give me any advice, it would be so welcome. I feel as if I am drowning in information I have no idea about.
This forum is a god-send, and I thank you all so much.

Your results on 100mcg Levothyroxine showed suppressed TSH with FT4 mildly over range and good FT3 5.42 which indicates good conversion. In April on 75mcg Levothyroxine and 25mcg T3 FT4 has dropped below range and FT3 has dropped to 4.35.
I'm not sure why the dose adjustments would have caused FT3 to drop. Are you having treatment for the poor liver which may be affecting absorption of thyroid meds?
What it is, is I have been anorexic for a long time and in the past I had taken an accidental overdose of paracetamol. As I was only 4.5 Stone at the time it affected my liver very badly. My liver results for the last few years have been abnormal, and finally this year my GP sent me to the liver consultant at the hospital. I had a fibro scan & a liver biopsy, and it showed bad scarring but not quite cirrhosis. I've been on my thyroid meds (just Levo) for about 2 years and I have only got worse. Recently (last October after the first test above) I added T3, to try to get rid of the RT3 and once up to 1 x 25 - T3, I decreased my Levo to 75. I have been on this for just over a month and then had t he test done above.
I'm not sure how I got the latest results, and also not sure what to do about my liver either, as my consultant just wants to monitor it, but if it means my thyroid meds aren't being absorbed then what can I do?
I was wondering whether perhaps you were taking liver medication which might have interfered with absorption of thyroid medication. I don't know what to suggest other than to try 75/100 Levothyroxine with 25mcg T3 and retest in 8 weeks.
