methylsulphonylmethane and levothyroxine

hello. is it safe to take methylsulphonylmethane supplements and levothyroxine? do you guys ever heard of any interaction between those?

Im taking cranberry pills aswell i would like to hear from you if cranberry interact with levo, or theres no need to be worried here....

It is wise to make sure that you leave a good time interval (e.g. an hour or more) between taking your levothyroxine and any other medications or supplements.

It would be helpful if you explained what methylsulphonylmethane supplements are and why you want to take this.

I take MSM when my gut get irritated as it has excellent healing properties.

However, I would never take it with thyroid hormone replacement meds. Your Levo should be taken on an empty stomach with a glass of water, 1 hour before food and 2 -4 hours before supplements depending on which ones are being taken.

so theres no need to be worried that Msm will mess with thyroid levels or decrease levo absorption right?

No, so long as it is taken well away from meds.

It should help thyroid meds work as healing gut issues will aid absorption of nutrients and improve thyroid hormone conversion.
