Thyroid blood test results

Recently had a blood test to check Thyroid. Came back at 0.44. GP saying this is fine but still having symptoms. Has anyone had a similar score on blood test and had been referred to specialist?

That'll be your TSH, I should think - doesn't really tell you anything without Free T4 and free t3. It means you don't have primary hypothyroidism (if you are not on medication already), but that's all. You could have a thyroid hormone producing tumour (probably not) and be hyper, you could have secondary or central hypothyroidism, or thyroid hormone resistance. If GP won't do all the necessary tests, you can get them done privately through Blue Horizon or Medichecks
